DJI Mavic Mini – Quick Review

Starting off with the DJI Mavic Mini. DJI announced the Mavic Mini on October 30, 2019 as a replacement for the now discontinued DJI Spark and positioning it as a beginner camera drone. Featuring a three-axis gimballed camera with a 12MP sensor it can shoot in both 1080p and 2.7K video at 30 frames per second.

After using the DJI Mavic Mini for a one-year period we can conclude that it is by no means a toy. It is a powerful tool to capture those astonishing videos in places you otherwise wouldn’t be able to get a shot from, but at an acceptable price. Starting at $399 we can comfortably say that this is the best entry-level drone for any enthusiast. Its foldable arms and controller makes it a breeze to transport, and with its 249 grams it is perfectly legal to fly without a license.
